What is the language of instruction? Do I need to be fluent in Italian to study at ADCR?

All design classes, studio sessions, and critical theory lectures are conducted entirely in English. While strong English proficiency is required, speaking Italian is not a prerequisite for admission. However, we highly encourage all students to utilize the opportunity to take basic Italian language classes to fully immerse themselves in Rome's rich cultural life.
